Hello everyone!
April 4th will mark the first time a main series Shin Megami Tensei: Persona game hits the US market since December 9, 2008 when Persona 4 was released. Technically you could count the enhanced version of the game, Persona 4 Golden, which was released for the PlayStation Vita in 2012. If you really want to get down to it, there was also the Exclusive Nintendo 3DS title, Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth. But that game is just a spinoff which is more akin to Etrian Odyssey with strong Persona elements in the gameplay.
For those that aren't familiar with the series; it has been well-received as a whole and set a pretty strong standard for your modern contemporary JRPG-style game. Persona 5 looks to hold up very well and fill in the shoes of the previous games with ease. Many critics have been very positive about the game's design and style, referring to it as one of the most stylish games of this current generation of gaming.
As a massive fan of the series I thought it would be a necessity to purchase the Take Your Heart Premium Edition for Persona 5. I've already got the collector's edition of Persona Q (which I might write about more of in the future), which is aptly titled The Wild Cards. It came with a nice bundle of stuff and that cranked up my drive to have yet another special edition from Atlus.
While the game finally comes out for most international markets on April 4th, there has been some mild disappointment from fans in the World Wide market since the game has been delayed numerous times since then. For context, Japan has had the game since September of last year. On top of that, quite a few people have been having their orders of the Take Your Heart edition end up getting delayed or even cancelled.

That said, I'll consider myself among the lucky survivors of the issues that have plagued those customers. My copy is still on the scheduled time and I've got some news from Amazon and USPS that boosted my faith on the topic of receiving my copy on time.
As seen here my product has departed from Kenosha, Wisconsin and should be here by the 4th. Assuming that this all shakes out and whatnot, you can expect to have more information on it when it arrives. I'll bust out my DSLR and give you some nice high resolution images of all the goodies and loot that will be coming in with it.
